A 40-year veteran of the construction industry, James S. Repace learned the ins and outs of the construction business from his father, who was a general contractor.
After leaving the Navy with an Achievement Medal for Excellence and graduation from UC Davis, California with a degree in science and math, Mr. Repace began his career in the construction industry. He worked for a number of years at the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency as a Technical Assistant II, and went on to work as a project manager for a large development firm. He took the State
Contractor's test and obtained his general contractors license while working there and a year after that started his own general construction company.
Mr. Repace served as President of the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce in 1997 and also as the Board's liaison with the West Sacramento Building Department.
